The New Egypt speedway is a classic piece of New Jersey history frozen in time. Sit on the grandstand blenchs and make sure you brought some eye protection and a hat and get ready for some awesome racing! Different categories style and classes. I have been going to New Egypt since I was about 17 and worked in the concession stand for a summer... Its loud, ya get dirty, lots of hootin and hollerin from the fans when they're cheerin on their favorite car, and it's soooo family oriented !!! That combo makes for an awesome Saturday night so its definitely worth a go if you've never been and definitely worth going again through the season !!!!
Want something fun to do on a Saturday night from April to September smack in dead-central New Jersey? Well, New Egypt Speedway is the place for you! See several different classes of race cars go door handle to door handle around this D-shaped 1/2 mile hard-packed dirt track. It's a fun action packed night for the whole family! The concessions area is always alive with a fun carnival vibe with the smell of yummy track food, ice cream, sweets, and all kinds of fun souvenirs. Just be sure to bring something to sit on, as the bleacher seating offers zero cushioning for your butt. And be prepared to have a bit of track dust blow up into the bleachers from time to time. A fun family friendly thing to do!
Went to New Egypt speedway for the first time on Saturday. The staff is very friendly and attentive the facilities are in great shape and the concessions were above what you would expect from a small local Racetrack. We would highly recommend a visit to this local gem we will definitely be going back

Grosso family has really hit it out of the park! Best dirt track and short track experience in the region again! Super friendly staff. Good food priced fairly in comparison to stick and ball venues. Clean restrooms. Good action on the track. Got a full program is with 5 divisions in under 3 hours which is amazing in short track racing!
This place has been around forever. There's a good reason why. Come out and see the races and have some fun
My sister and I took our great niece and nephew for their first nighttime race, they enjoyed it. We're trying to get them to go back with us soon before the end of the season.
